go to see your doctor. my boyfriend used to be a smokeholic, but his doc perscribed him some percription drugs and he had officially quit in about 1 month. he hasn’t had another cig in 1 1/2.
i was a chain smoker 2 packs a day. i quite smoking its been 7 years, i gain weight but not that much. after quiting u might have started eating a lot in replacement of smoking. anyways again quit it and control Ur diet and do some exercises.
We quit over 2 yrs ago using that herbal stuff that was pushed on tv in those infomercials. Worked GREAT!!!! They said you’d quit the first day no problem. I thought sure…right, being a 30 yr smoker I didn’t have much confidence in that statement. Shock and surprise..you DO QUIT the FIRST DAY. We were floored. Sure you still miss that smoke after meals a week or so but that’s why they have these tincture tablets when you have a urge to smoke. And they WORK!!!! Also detox capsules at bedtime. They work real well too. WORTH THE MONEY
Get anything that tastes like cinnamon. Red hots are great when you have a craving. there’s something about cinnamon that helps take the urge away more than anything else. Get cinnamon tooth paste. You wont gain wieght if you don’t eat too much. your sugar level will go up temporarily, but any weight you gain wont stay on very long. Drink lots of water. Carry around a glass of water around all day.
Very interesting. Tobacco companies don’t tell you that if you start smoking and then quite, weight gain is very likely. I quite over 20 years ago and still fight the weight. Quitting was with nicorette gum and being away from smokers. I haven’t found a good thing to put in my mouth to replace food. But I’m only about 25 pounds over what I should be. It’s worse for some than others. I’d advise quitting tobacco and fight the weight after. We need to do some research on how best to do this.
well i gave up when i went cold turkey and found out that i didn’t have any cravings and that i wasn’t addicted so i thought why am i spending all this money on things that i don’t even need?? so i suppose im not being much help but still i don’t care xx
Hi, I had the question about Acutane and I really appreciated your answer; I didn’t know how to reach you again so I decided to answer one of your questions! I was just wondering about how long it took for the Acutane to start working for you. The dermatologist said I would start to see “visible” results within 4 months and I was really bummed; that’s a really LONG time for me. I don’t want to start something, with the kind of side effects it has, that will take forever (for me at least) to see any results. I’m putting up a question regarding this, hoping you can answer.
But since I am answering your question, I did some research, and though I do not know anything first hand, I hope this article gives you a little bit of help/ hope. Thanks again and I would really appreciate it if you could help me out with your answer again
I tried it. Didn’t gain weight and didn’t stop smoking either. Am going to try it again beginning today. I wish us both luck!
